About the role
- Principal Engineer leading design and delivery of land development civil engineering works. Ensure compliance with UK standards managing multidisciplinary teams at AtkinsRéalis in Bangalore.
Responsibilities
- This role leads the design and delivery of civil engineering works for land development projects, including roads, earthworks, drainage, and utility coordination.
- Responsibilities cover all project stages—from feasibility and planning to detailed design and construction—ensuring compliance with relevant UK standards and client requirements.
- The position involves managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing technical quality, budgets, and programmes, and coordinating with stakeholders such as local authorities, regulators, and developers.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure design tools (Civil 3D, BIM), regulatory approvals, and leadership skills are essential, along with Chartered Engineer status and proven experience in large-scale development projects.
Requirements
- Experience of 15+ years in relevant engineering fields is recommended.
- Detailed knowledge of the fundamental concepts, principles, and theories of system integration as applied to multi-disciplinary designs.
- Project Technical Leader on large or complex multi-disciplinary projects.
