- Ability to perform design calculations from first principles
- Proven strong problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience with design codes such as ASME BPVC Section III, RCC-M, BS EN 13480, BS EN13445 (preferred)
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and application of V&V techniques (preferred)
- Supervising less-experienced engineers and students (preferred)
- Chartered with a relevant professional institute (or approaching application for registration) (preferred)
