Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Concept, PFS, FS, and FEED studies for mineral processing projects
- Oversee cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines
- Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Conduct structured trade-off studies and risk assessments
- Ensure technical quality and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Engage in process design, equipment selection, and vendor coordination
- Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 15–20 years of experience in mineral processing, focusing on copper and/or gold
- Managing PFS, FS, and FEED studies in the mining sector
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario / Quebec or eligible for P.Eng status in any Canadian province
- 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of process flowsheets and equipment integration
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, @Risk)
- Familiarity with SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software
- Operational and site experience in mineral processing plants
- Knowledge of project safety standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
