About the role
- Senior HW Systems Engineer contributing to the development of Electronic Warfare systems in a hybrid role. Joining a project focused on testing and integration of hardware components.
Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering activities with focus on HW integration and testing of the main unit controlling the EW system
- Support general systems engineering work, including requirements updates and definition of test cases for formal verification and production testing
- Support HW prototype integration and testing
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and support debugging activities
- Gather feedback from testing and provide input to design improvements and requirements updates
- Support HW verification and qualification activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams and stakeholders
Requirements
- Civil or university engineering degree in electronics, technical physics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience working as a Systems Engineer in industries such as defense, rail, radio communications, med-tech, or similar
- Strong experience in systems engineering processes and requirements management
- Experience in product development with focus on hardware development
- Experience with hardware integration and testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured but flexible way of working
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience with RF and microwave technologies (meritorious)
- Experience working in highly regulated or safety-critical environments (meritorious)
