About the role
- Project Engineer designing and delivering smart parking and access solutions at SKIDATA. Engaging in system architecture, networking, and commissioning of infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and document end-to-end system architectures for parking infrastructure and digital services, ensuring scalability, compliance, and seamless integration
- Build and configure servers, devices, and peripherals
- Design network topologies, VLANs, IP addressing, and PoE sizing while ensuring systems meet security and performance standards
- Support onsite commissioning, testing, UAT, and Go-Live activities — validating system performance and ensuring defect-free delivery
- Prepare and complete all technical documentation, handover packs, and configuration records to support long-term system reliability and service transition
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
- 2–3 years’ experience in system integration, networking, and hardware/software configuration
- Strong understanding of IP networks, servers, and system architecture
- Experience commissioning and testing complex technical systems
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot technical documentation
- Exposure to parking systems, access control, IoT, or cloud platforms is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on mindset
