About the role

  • Supply Chain Intern assisting with data analytics and inventory management in a hybrid role. Collaborating with planners and logistics teams to ensure product availability at the Lake Forest office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing historical sales data to support demand forecasting
  • Help update and maintain demand planning models and forecasting tools
  • Participate in weekly forecast review meetings and track forecast accuracy KPIs
  • Identify trends, seasonality, and anomalies within demand data
  • Support supply planners in evaluating inventory positions and supply requirements
  • Assist in monitoring open purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand supply risks and constraints
  • Help prepare supply planning reports, dashboards, and metrics
  • Develop and maintain Excel- or Power BI–based trackers for demand, inventory, or planning metrics
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports used by planning leadership.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering or related
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups); familiarity with Power BI is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Interest in demand forecasting, supply planning, and data-driven decision making.
