About the role

• Android Developer creating next-gen mobile service tools for access control systems. Collaborating with R&D team to enhance hotel access solutions with cutting-edge Android technologies.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of a cross-functional R&D team responsible for our Android-based service applications supporting both Visionline and Vostio.
• Your work will directly impact how efficiently and reliably our access solutions are deployed worldwide.
• Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining Android applications using latest technology.
• Designing and implementing new features that improve field technician workflows.
• Collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers.
• Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code—and helping others do the same.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience with modern Android development.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Jetpack libraries.
• Solid understanding of coroutines, Flows, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with common Android architecture patterns (MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with automated testing (unit, UI, integration).
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions together with other teams.
• Nice to have: Experience with Bluetooth/BLE, NFC, or other device communication.
• Nice to have: Experience building apps with strong requirements on security and offline behavior.
• Nice to have: Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Nice to have: Backend or API design experience.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Nice to have: Golang development experience.
• Nice to have: Experience with USB Serial communication (FTDI, USB Serial drivers).
• Nice to have: Understanding of Android USB Host/Accessory APIs.
• Nice to have: Working with low-level hardware protocols.
• Nice to have: Experience with cryptography (AES, encryption/decryption).
