Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Android-based solutions using common standards and frameworks
- Deliver products to market by working closely with customers, engineering, design, and program management teams in an Agile environment
- Analyse and/or contribute to software architecture
- Perform code reviews
- Write comprehensive documentation, making it easier for others to understand the code and the architecture decisions, facilitating smoother collaboration
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in native Android application development
- Advanced proficiency in Android and related development frameworks, tools, and technologies
- Experience with Android Automotive OS is nice to have
- Exposure to Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development considered an asset
- Strong foundation in object-oriented design (OOD) and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Familiarity with Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architectural patterns
- Experience working with streaming technologies is highly desirable
- Demonstrated commitment to internal stakeholders and adherence to customer service best practices
