Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and DevOps best practices.
- Architect and maintain scalable, resilient, cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using tools like Terraform.
- Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting systems to improve reliability and reduce operational toil.
- Partner with Dev, SRE, Architecture, and QA teams to support feature delivery, performance, and system stability.
- Drive automation across build, deployment, configuration, and environment management workflows.
- Evaluate emerging tools, patterns, and practices to keep AGS on the cutting edge of DevOps maturity.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to DevOps engineers and cross-functional partners.
- Support production environments, including on-call participation as necessary.
Requirements
- 8+ years of DevOps experience in a major tech organization or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Deep expertise in: Cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred).
- CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Containerization & orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of microservices architectures, networking, load balancing, and security.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
