Responsibilities
- Cloud Security Posture Management: monitor and enhance the organization's cloud security posture; identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in cloud environments
- Vulnerability Management: conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans; collaborate with development, engineering, and infrastructure teams to address vulnerabilities and implement remediation plans
- Cloud Security & Native Services: work with securing cloud-native services such as EKS, ECS, and Docker; stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and best practices
- Reporting & Coordination: prepare weekly vulnerability and compliance reports; coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues; communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on security posture and compliance status.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT security/SOC incident response/Cloud Security roles
- Strong expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure management security tools like GuardDuty, CloudTrail
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Wiz, Qualys and Splunk)
- Familiarity with PCI compliance standards and reporting
- Knowledge of securing cloud-native services like EKS, ECS, and Docker
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
