About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive the development of projects involving sustainable solutions for water and wastewater treatment.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and designing solutions for clients.
  • Perform tasks such as site visits and assessments, water sampling, analyzing data, evaluating technologies, troubleshooting processes, and optimizing plant operations.
  • Prepare preliminary and detailed designs in vertical infrastructure under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Conduct hydraulic design calculations, size process equipment, and prepare design reports, specifications, process drawings, cost estimates, and tender documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline) with the ability to work towards a PEO licence
  • Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit would be beneficial
  • Experience with BioWin, GPS-X, InfoWork, and InfoWater would also be beneficial.
