Responsibilities
performing planning studies, design, and field investigations for a variety of water and wastewater projects
assessing, developing, and supporting the management of sustainability and resilience projects
preparing comprehensive written technical reports, Preliminary Design Reports, evaluation memorandums, spreadsheets, written correspondence, permitting applications, and engaging presentations and audio-visual materials
regular and effective communication with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, and county or agency review staff
working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
managing multiple concurrent projects with varying deadlines and ensuring all deliverables are completed in alignment with project budgets, client expectations, regulatory requirements, and established timelines
Requirements
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Reliable, client-focused, and capable of working successfully both independently under the supervision of project managers as well as within a team.
Flexible attitude towards assignments, with the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly.
Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water / wastewater / stormwater.
Familiarity/experience with ArcGIS and/or hydraulic modeling software is ideal but not required.
