Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, design, and support management of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects (pipelines, treatment facilities, pumping facilities)
- Exercise judgment on intricate details of projects and make preliminary selections of engineering alternatives
- Conduct fieldwork including site visits, construction inspections, sample collection, water quality analysis, asset inventory, and monitoring systems setup
- Support professional engineering services during construction (construction observation, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, permit closeouts)
- Coordinate with manufacturer’s representatives and contractors
- Support asset management projects with data analytics, operational and organizational assessments, condition assessments, and performance evaluations
- Prepare reports, presentations, cost estimates, and participate in client meetings
Requirements
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
