Responsibilities
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for executing the global social media strategy for Arcadis on LinkedIn, Facebook, & Instagram.
Key responsibilities will include content management, community management, generating inbound traffic and monitoring performance.
The role will also include providing support to execute paid media campaigns on LinkedIn and Facebook.
Developing social media plans for campaigns
Managing social media campaigns end-to-end, ensuring all scheduled posts are published via Oktopost accurately and on time according to the content calendar and campaign objectives.
Troubleshooting and handling ad hoc queries from the global marcomms community and business stakeholders
Communicating insights and best practices to peers and colleagues
Continuously monitoring trends and competitor insights
Managing assigned tasks from global project request tool in a timely manner.
Stay updated with social media trends and drive experimentation of innovative executions and creative approaches to deliver fresh and engaging content.
Closely work with the stakeholder, Creatives & Design, and Content teams to request new content to be promoted on social media.
Monitor and manage post engagements such as negative reactions, mentions, and comments as well as messages sent to our social media inboxes.
Monitor target client engagements in Oktopost to identify priority audiences and content opportunities.
Monitor benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media content, and analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on channel performance, content performance, and campaign performance and translate them into recommendations and action plans.
Generate UTM parameters for all social media posts to ensure accurate tracking of traffic sources and performance analytics.
Sync qualified contacts and engagement data from Oktopost into Eloqua.
Assist stakeholders in gathering, analyzing, and identifying campaign requirements; ability to gauge the complexity of the request
Coordinate the work estimates and negotiate turnaround time within the team.
Provides status updates, raises issues encountered, and adjusts timelines as appropriate
Support team in developing modules, guides, and process documents on social media best practices for social media community of practice
Identify and provide suggestions for continuous process improvement
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or any Business-related courses
2 years of cumulative hands-on experience in social media marketing, managing social platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Social Media Management Software
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
LinkedIn (certification or hands-on-experience preferred)
Facebook (mandatory, hands-on-experience)
Hands-on experience with Oktopost or similar social media management software.
Excellent understanding of Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Ads Manager. Google Ads is a plus.
Great knowledge on Google Analytics (UA/GA4)
Familiar with Facebook Meta or Creator studio
Good understanding of data visualization software like Google Looker Studio.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and able to create engaging presentations
Experience with task management software like Asana or similar.
