About the role

Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise and technical knowledge to execute water and wastewater treatment design & construction engineering activities.
- Manage design teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Lead and/or participate in client development activities.
- Assess potentials, assist with position and capture strategies, and proposal and presentation efforts for various stages of water/wastewater design projects.
- Develop project scopes and fee estimates.
- Create construction documents, specifications, and oversee construction administration.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
- PE License in New Jersey and/or in other nearby states (or ability to obtain NJ PE within 6 months).
- 15+ years of industry-related experience (preferred).
- Experience preparing plans and specifications conform to Construction Specification Institute MasterFormat (preferred).
- Experience working on design projects with construction contractors utilizing alternative project delivery methods (preferred).
