About the role
- Regional Water/Wastewater Design Leader at Arcadis leading treatment project quality assurance and mentoring engineers. Collaborating across locations to expand client relationships in Southeast US.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee quality assurance and control of water / wastewater treatment projects.
- Provide technical expertise as QA/QC reviewer or technical advisor to ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.
- Lead knowledge transfer and development of staff within area of expertise.
- Supervise and support the work of others while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
- Manage technical coordination and leadership role on larger projects.
- Oversee technical delivery of large or complex projects ensuring client satisfaction.
- Support marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of scopes of work and budgets.
- Build and maintain a strong professional reputation and seek opportunities to develop a regional profile.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of water / wastewater treatment experience.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field of study.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License and ability to obtain license by reciprocity in other states as needed.
- Strong client management skills, particularly in preparation and development of proposals and interviews.
- Strong technical expertise and experience with water and wastewater treatment projects.
