Integrated into the operations team, under the supervision of the Project Operation Manager, the engineer will prepare the offshore campaign from the office and will embark on board on a rotational basis or at the shipyard for assignments as the client's representative on the project.
Provide support to the Project Operation Manager on all technical and operational aspects related to installation (installation planning, logistics, review of engineering and method documents, monitoring of installation aids, etc.).
Support the Project Operation Manager in preparing the installation vessels (procurement of equipment and subcontracting).
Participate in and make recommendations during risk reviews and operational reviews.
Coordinate the mobilization of resources required for the vessels' offshore campaigns.
Conduct assignments at fabrication yards and logistics bases when necessary to monitor loading operations and the preparation of project equipment.
Carry out offshore assignments aboard installation vessels.
Requirements
Engineering degree (Bac+5) or equivalent with a specialization in mechanical engineering, electromechanics, automation, naval/marine engineering, or a related industrial field.
Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in technical operations, naval maintenance, offshore operations, or management of complex equipment in an industrial environment.
Strong experience in offshore operations, preferably in deepwater, such as subsea installation, flexible pipe and umbilical deployment.
Able to manage and interface with project discipline engineers and/or the ASSET department as required.
Manage subcontractors.
Fluent professional English required (verbal communication and technical writing).
