About the role
- Full-Stack Engineer responsible for full-cycle projects impacting tax-related applications at April. Collaborating with product teams to design scalable solutions and build microservices.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to / own full-cycle (from idea to production) projects that are directly used by and impact millions of people.
- Work closely with the product & UX to translate product requirements to execution.
- Collaborate on designing system architectures, select/ evaluate tools.
- Build cloud-native microservices.
- Adopt and contribute to the team’s practices and technology stack.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience building production-level web applications in large-scale products.
- 4+ years of experience with modern full-stack frameworks React/Angular/Vue or equivalent programming language, developing high-scale applications.
- 4+ years of experience building reactive web or mobile-web frontends using React/Next/Angular/Vue over TypeScript/JavaScript.
- 4+ years working in a microservice based backend environment
- 3+ years of experience with Python
- Passion for clean code and agile work.
- Experience with modern cloud environments (GCP, AWS).
- Strong architecture skills – ability to design for scale, and velocity, robustness, and readability of end-to-end data-driven solutions.
- Passion for data, customer experience, and building high-quality software!
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
