About the role

• Staff Data Engineer at Apply Digital scaling data capabilities across engineering, analytics, MarTech, and AI. Collaborating with clients to design end-to-end data solutions and implement advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines, architectures, and analytics solutions
• Deliver end-to-end data solutions across ingestion, modeling, and activation
• Integrate data across CDPs, CRM, and media platforms to enable marketing use cases
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans
• Define and apply data architecture standards (modeling, governance, security)
• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, and cloud best practices
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance across systems
• Develop and enable analytics frameworks (measurement, attribution, funnel analysis) to support data-driven decision making
• Lead and mentor a team of data resources in designing, creating, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, architectures, and analytics solutions.
• Ensure the team's solutions utilize Cloud services effectively by optimizing data architectures for performance and scalability.
• Apply advanced analytics and machine learning techniques (e.g., segmentation, predictive modeling) and implement AI-driven data solutions (e.g., LLMs, RAG, automation) to enhance insights, decisioning, and business outcomes.
• Champion the development and implementation of data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles, covering modeling, metadata, security, and reference data.
• Promote continuous learning within the team, staying ahead of emerging technologies and methodologies in data engineering and analytics.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics or measurement with a proven track record of leading data teams.
• Expertise in Analytics solution, SQL, ETL, data warehousing technologies, and extensive hands-on experience with Cloud services.
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling, analysis techniques, and implementing data management best practices.
• Experience with data activation on media platforms using data integrations and Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead client-facing discussions and presentations.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, with a strong understanding of Data Analytics practices.
• Experience in data science or advanced analytics.
