About the role
- Conference Producer responsible for marketing strategy, event management, and content curation at Bit Summit in Hamburg. Delivering premium conference experience for tech professionals while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive ticket sales and grow an audience of 500+ tech professionals
- Manage media and sponsor marketing to increase visibility and achieve profitable growth
- Oversee digital and content marketing aligned with core technical themes to attract our target audience
- Lead development of the multi-track program and manage the Call for Papers
- Ensure all content adheres to a “deep tech, no sales pitch” standard
- Recruit and manage speakers while overseeing speaker logistics and experience
- Manage event logistics including venue, catering, AV production, and vendor relationships
- Maintain and optimize the conference budget and negotiate supplier contracts
- Oversee on-site execution, registration, and overall attendee experience
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in marketing and end-to-end event management/production
- Proven track record delivering large-scale conferences
- Strong project management and operational execution skills
- Experience managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with senior speakers and partners
