Systems Engineer supporting SOF AT&L's PEO-TIS Integrated Sensor Systems at MacDill AFB, FL. Collaborating with engineering disciplines to ensure system requirements and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Interface with vendors/developers to assess Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) criteria/plans against System requirements
Perform analysis and decomposition of requirements to ensure functional, operational, and performance requirements are achieved and documented
Develop/Review Technical Briefings, Test Plans, Test Reports, and other technical documents in support of OT&E and F&DR activities
Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to develop Measures of Performance (MOP) for Effectiveness, Suitability, Survivability in support of OT&E
Support the program office personnel with developing and updating Requirements Traceability Matrices and Evaluation Frameworks
Oversee, develop, coordinate, and/or manage the Spectrum Management process for compliance with regulations
Review, learn, master, synchronize, and comply with all USSOCOM policies around OT&E activities
Assist with developing the Fielding and Deployment Release (F&DR) staffing packages
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical discipline
5+ years of cumulative experience in a Test Engineer, Test Manager, Systems Engineer, or relevant technical role in support of DoD Acquisition Life Cycle
3+ years DoD experience in Military Systems, Communication Systems, or Sensor Systems
Knowledge of DoD Operational Test & Evaluation processes and policies
Knowledge of Developmental Test and Evaluation practices, principles, and techniques
Knowledge of Test Engineering principles and Design of Experiments methodology
Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or other technical degrees w/ relevant experience) from an accredited college or university
