  • Software Engineer at Offutt AFB, NE supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center's Command and Control Division. Involves documentation analysis, software assurance, and agile development collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Review, prepare, and analyze various documentation: Planning, requirements, design, support, and test
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definitions, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
  • Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
  • Deliver Subject Matter Expertise on the nuclear command and control planning process, instructing and evaluating USSTRATCOM directorates
  • Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to ensure software meets quality specifications
  • Work as a member of an agile software development team

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must possess a Top Clearance security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience, including 5 years supporting DoD Agile Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E)
  • Experience supporting the Government with an analysis of operational impact related to system and software engineering proposed changes
