About the role
- Public Relations Assistant engaging with media and supporting communication activities. Working within a diverse team at a global agency based in Mexico City.
Responsibilities
- Assist the account executive to ensure compliance with the clients requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationship with the media.
- Research, creation, assembly, sending and monitoring of press releases, media alert, newsflash, hookstory, etc.
- Periodic updating of media databases (includes research, cleaning and categorization).
- Filling and maintaining coverage trackers in Word and Excel.
Requirements
- 1 year experience in a public relations agency.
- Proficiency in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
