About the role

  • Lead Automotive and Digital Transformation projects as an Associate Manager at a leading consultancy in Germany. Focus on quality, efficiency, and business development in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in the automotive and digitalization space and coordinate interdisciplinary teams with a focus on quality, efficiency, and accountability for results.
  • Build state-of-the-art expertise, develop relevant topic areas, and actively help shape the content direction of the Automotive Practice.
  • Deliver presentations and facilitate workshops and discussions at management level internally, with clients, and at events.
  • Develop practical solution approaches for key clients and conduct data-driven analyses, including deriving clear recommendations for action.
  • Support the development of project team members, build high performers, and actively contribute to the company’s cultural and personnel growth.
  • Actively drive business development and project acquisition through lead generation and participation in tender processes.

Requirements

  • Completed degree (e.g., Business, Computer Science, or a related field).
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in management or strategy consulting (full-time).
  • If Bachelor’s degree: minimum 4–5 years of professional experience.
  • If Master’s degree: minimum 3–4 years of professional experience.
  • Solid project experience within consulting, including involvement in business development activities such as project acquisition, proposal processes, or lead generation.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites (multiple times per week; strongly dependent on client and project).
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Initial leadership experience and an existing client network in the automotive or adjacent industrial sector (nice to have).
