About the role
- Real Estate Development Manager leading construction projects in the healthcare & hospitality sectors for Choctaw Nation. Requires bachelor's degree, PMP certification, and 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a program of projects inclusive of planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, issue resolution with proper escalation to not lose momentum on any project.
- Provide leadership with appropriate management of internal and external consultants to ensure compliance with project specs, budget, and schedules.
- Work with proper end-users to develop project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule, and any related risk.
- Provides relationship management to ensure the customer is put first and communication always takes priority.
- Trend, track, and ensure all departmental goals achievement with proper management and escalation of issues promptly.
- Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, monthly reporting, financial reporting, and performance reporting to ensure adherence to project documents and business planning efforts.
- Support project development of assigned maintenance capital/development capital planning. Execution of planning support department related strategic goals.
- Facilitates working relationships with public entities, including the local and government offices, federal officials, and local jurisdictions.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, architecture, or related field of study or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of education
- PMP certification
- Strong analytical skills with emphasis on financial and business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to implement organizational change
- Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively.
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Real Estate Development Experience a plus.
- Five (5) years' experience in strategic program development, implementation, and project management
