Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex matters related to labour immigration law, including visa applications, work permits, expatriate regulations, and compliance with national and international legal frameworks.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, contracts, and opinions related to employment-based immigration, global mobility programs, and corporate immigration strategies.
- Conduct legal research on evolving immigration policies, labor laws, and international mobility trends, producing memoranda, briefs, and updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop thought leadership content, such as articles, white papers, and presentations, to enhance the firm’s visibility and influence in labour immigration law.
- Monitor and analyze legal developments affecting labour immigration in Brazil and internationally, proactively advising clients on implications and strategic responses.
- Participate in business development activities, including client relationship management and representation at industry events and legal panels.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in labour immigration law, evidenced by legal practice, scholarly research, publications, or an academic career.
- Strong understanding of global mobility and cross-border employment issues.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
