About the role

Responsibilities
- Define architectural standards and contribute to key technology decisions
- Implement, industrialize and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Ensure the performance, resilience, availability and security of Data platforms
- Implement environment management strategies (dev, test, prod) and automated deployment
- Maintain technical governance of data flows (traceability, lineage, dependency management)
- Audit and improve existing processes to increase robustness and maintainability
- Integrate software quality best practices: automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, observability
- Anticipate volume, scalability and cloud cost optimization challenges
- Collaborate with Data Science, ML, Product and Business teams to align solutions with real use cases
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and prioritize major initiatives
- Document architectures and ensure knowledge transfer to strengthen team autonomy.
Requirements
- Strong experience with cloud environments: AWS and/or Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Good knowledge of Data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery
- Experience with Big Data technologies: Spark, PySpark, Kafka
- Proficient in languages: Python and SQL; familiarity with Java is a plus
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Experience with CI/CD environments, Git and monitoring tools
- Experience in distributed architectures and handling large volumes of data
