About the role

  • Finance Manager managing financial operations and ensuring adherence to government contract financial requirements. Tracking, analyzing, and reporting financial information for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations and ensure adherence to financial requirements for government contracts
  • Track, analyze, and report financial information ensuring compliance with customer requirements and budgets
  • Develop and maintain tracking of billings against Customer funding requirements by Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN)/SLIN/ACRN
  • Prepare and maintain Estimate at Completion (EACs) in accordance with guidelines
  • Reconcile and approve vendor invoices for payment
  • Analyze financial information to forecast option year budgets
  • Review cash requirements and prepare for future procurement
  • Administer Firm-fixed price and cost-type contracts
  • Utilize Excel proficiently to perform accounting procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with government contracts
  • MBA preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of other financial systems such as Deltek/Costpoint and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures and government contract management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts
  • Experience in monitoring and maintaining compliance with financial regulations and budgets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Possession of a TS security clearance preferred
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance
