About the role
- Software Tester conducting manual testing, creating structured test cases, and participating in agile teams at Almato AG in Stuttgart.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing to ensure the software meets requirements and functions without defects
- Create detailed and structured test cases based on requirements, specifications, and user stories
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of test strategies and test concepts that cover the entire software lifecycle
- Identify, document, and track software defects and support their resolution
- Execute tests according to WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines to ensure accessibility for all users
- Produce detailed test reports, especially for accessibility testing, and communicate results to the team
- Perform dynamic testing to ensure the software meets requirements for performance, security, and reliability
- Actively participate in agile development teams and support continuous integration and deployment
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, software development, or a comparable qualification
- Proven practical experience in software testing, particularly manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Solid understanding of testing methods, techniques, and the development of test concepts
- ISTQB certification or a comparable qualification in software testing
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and experience conducting accessibility tests
- A clean criminal record (police clearance) is mandatory
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Experience with test automation is an advantage but not required
- German language skills at C2 level or native speaker
