About the role
- Project Manager leading accuracy and quality of outdoor trail data for AllTrails. Managing a team and coordinating research for data projects in the Western US.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the ongoing accuracy, completeness, and consistency of AllTrails trail data for the Western US
- Manage and support a team of contractors contributing to trail data projects
- Coordinate and execute research tasks; independently drive work through each sprint
- Review deliverables and provide clear, actionable feedback to maintain product quality for US users
- Support QA efforts, including assisting with QA testing as needed
Requirements
- Basic SQL skills
- Experience with Google Suite and Google Looker (or other data analytics platforms)
- Managerial experience
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through
- Ability to prioritize effectively and focus on high-impact work
- Ability to sustain focus for long periods on a single task
