Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct wound rounds, maintain wound documentation and prepare wound anamnesis
  • Implement optimal wound prevention and avoid or minimize pain
  • Support treating physicians with conventional wound care
  • Train nursing staff (instruction and guidance on wound care, infection prevention)
  • Document individual basic and treatment care of residents (medication administration, care protocols, etc.)
  • Ensure nursing quality together with the team
  • Serve as a compassionate point of contact for residents and their families

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a registered nurse, geriatric nurse and/or health and nursing professional with additional qualification in wound management
  • Team player with empathy when interacting with residents and colleagues
  • Independent and solution-oriented working style
  • Willingness to work across all shifts
  • Basic IT affinity
