About the role

  • Mental Health Therapist delivering high-quality therapeutic services through a hybrid model of virtual visits and in-clinic office hours. Focusing on patient-centered care for various populations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy using modalities such as CBT and DBT
  • Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with Primary care physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress
  • Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
  • Active licensure in at least two of the following states: Massachusetts (MA), Washington, DC, Maryland (MD), Virginia (VA)
  • 3–5 years of clinical experience working with youth, adults, and individuals with behavioral health challenges
  • Strong skills in evidence-based therapeutic practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
