About the role
- Seeking a Data Strategist to conceptualize data strategies for regulatory compliance in various sectors. The role involves advising, training, and leading workshops across multiple German locations.
Responsibilities
- You design varied and complex concepts and processes related to information and communication systems
- You advise and train business units on new and existing projects as well as on regulatory matters
- You lead workshops and quickly understand clients' requirements
- You identify trends in the digital environment and anticipate them when developing data strategies
- You support ensuring compliance with regulations and laws
- As your professional experience grows, you also take on technical leadership and responsibility for Data Strategy projects with a regulatory focus
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar qualification
- Initial professional experience in Business Analytics, Data Governance, Data Science, or in a strategy consultancy
- Ideally, first experience in the financial services or insurance industry
- Solid basic IT understanding and interest in data architectures
- Confident demeanor and strong communication skills for conducting client interviews and workshops independently
- Very good analytical skills and a strong drive to develop consistent end-to-end concepts
- Experience in project management, especially with agile methods (SCRUM)
- High commitment, flexibility, creativity, and strong team orientation
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Nice to have: understanding of and exposure to Data Catalog tools (Collibra) and Cloud Engineering (Azure)
