About the role

  • Tax Assistant supporting non-profit clients in creating financial statements and tax declarations. Collaborating with a team to handle diverse tax issues in Stuttgart's hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will support our predominantly non-profit clients in preparing financial statements and tax filings.
  • You will prepare income determinations for taxable business operations and prepare VAT returns for our clients’ taxable services.
  • The diverse case law in fiscal courts regarding non-profit status, restructurings, and cooperations among our clients gives rise to interesting tax questions that you will address and solve together with our tax team.
  • Our clients appreciate having you as a point of contact for everyday tax matters, whether in payroll tax, property tax, or issues related to real estate transactions such as real estate transfer tax.
  • We will financially support you alongside your active role in the firm if you plan to take the tax advisor examination in the medium term.
  • You will prepare tax returns using DATEV and work in a fully digitized firm, enabling you to work efficiently from home as well.

Requirements

  • Ideally, you have successfully completed a degree in business or law and have approximately 2 years of professional experience in tax advisory.
  • No university degree? No problem! If you completed vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachgehilfe) and have worked in tax advisory for several years, and are now seeking the next career step, we welcome your application.

  • Language skills: Good German language skills (C1) are required for our predominantly local clients.
