About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies: You define the strategic direction for your categories and, together with the business units, implement these strategies with the goal of sustainably improving cost efficiency and supplier collaboration.
- Market analysis & supplier selection: You conduct (international) procurement market analyses and manage the entire selection process for new suppliers — from tendering and evaluation to award and contract drafting.
- Forward-looking negotiation: You lead price and contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers — consistently, respectfully and purposefully — always keeping cost, quality and delivery performance in mind.
- Supplier management: You optimize the existing supplier base through systematic evaluations and by deriving and implementing appropriate measures.
Requirements
- You have a completed university degree.
- You bring several years of experience in strategic procurement of indirect categories, preferably in Facility Management, R&D, industrial supplies or technical capital goods including MRO.
- You are distinguished by strong analytical and conceptual skills that enable a strategic approach to complex tasks.
- You present yourself confidently and professionally and have proven yourself as an experienced negotiation partner at both national and international levels.
- Your assertiveness is paired with a communicative, team-oriented personality.
- You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- You have good knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
