Responsibilities
Develop and implement category strategies: You define the strategic direction for your categories and, together with the business units, implement these strategies with the goal of sustainably improving cost efficiency and supplier collaboration.
Market analysis & supplier selection: You conduct (international) procurement market analyses and manage the entire selection process for new suppliers — from tendering and evaluation to award and contract drafting.
Forward-looking negotiation: You lead price and contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers — consistently, respectfully and purposefully — always keeping cost, quality and delivery performance in mind.
Supplier management: You optimize the existing supplier base through systematic evaluations and by deriving and implementing appropriate measures.
Requirements
You have a completed university degree.
You bring several years of experience in strategic procurement of indirect categories, preferably in Facility Management, R&D, industrial supplies or technical capital goods including MRO.
You are distinguished by strong analytical and conceptual skills that enable a strategic approach to complex tasks.
You present yourself confidently and professionally and have proven yourself as an experienced negotiation partner at both national and international levels.
Your assertiveness is paired with a communicative, team-oriented personality.
You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
You have good knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
