Responsibilities
- In this role you are responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support our clients' needs
- Developing, designing and implementing data platforms for our clients
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- Working with both structured and unstructured data sources
- Optimizing data ingestion, processing and storage
- Collaborating with data scientists, analysts and developers to ensure smooth data operations
- Developing and maintaining data modeling and database architecture
- Estimating the effort required for your tasks
- Continuous, active learning in the field of AI
- Sharing your knowledge with clients and the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on big-data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL)
- Strong experience with Python, SQL, ETL tools and data modeling
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Ability to work with large and complex datasets at scale
- Experience with data integration and implementing data governance policies
- Ability to understand and communicate complex data requirements and to design appropriate technical solutions
