About the role

Responsibilities
- Focus on calculation and review of ICMS assessments (own ICMS, ICMS-ST, eCredac, etc.)
- Participate in projects to identify tax opportunities (ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/Cofins, IPI, and ISS)
- Complete, review, and rectify tax reporting obligations (EFD-Contribuições and EFD-ICMS/IPI)
- Assist in interpreting current tax regulations
- Draft technical memoranda to address client inquiries
- Develop the team and work across various projects
- Participate in the preparation and calculation of tax benefits and tax positions
- Active participation in Tax Reform projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Law
- Experience with indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/Cofins, IPI, and ISS)
- Experience in tax advisory/consulting
- Accounting knowledge and analytical reasoning
- Knowledge of tax positions and tax theories
- Knowledge of tax reporting obligations and fiscal documents
- Familiarity with tax reporting file layouts (e.g., EFD formats)
- Advanced Office skills (Excel: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, SUMIFS, IF, SUBTOTAL, and PivotTables)
- Desirable: experience in judicial litigation
- Desirable: experience in administrative tax litigation
