Responsibilities
Provide technical and business support to Safety, Environmental, Development, Commercial, and O&M teams
Perform asset management strategy implementation, power plant processes and design improvements
Actively collaborate with the maintenance and planning/scheduling groups
Assist with the development and implementation of the annual AES Southland engineering plan and budget
Prepare data-driven justification for capital project prioritization and budget planning
Ensure that appropriate Maintenance and Reliability metrics are in place throughout the site
Provide hands-on direct technical accounts of equipment failures and performance degradation
Identify and manage a system of continuous improvement to ensure resolution to chronic “bad actor” equipment
Utilize predictive technologies including vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and motor current analysis
Facilitate/support operational event and equipment failure investigations
