Responsibilities
Lead the strategic financial objectives of the division through accurate and proactive management and forecasting of sales, margin, and inventory levels to achieve targets
Provide high-level analysis and business reports to leadership
Develop and share merchandise analysis to inform and lead decision-making, including weekly promotional pricing and markdown decisions
Partner with merchandising and allocation on the timing and quantity of new and existing product flow into the stores to maximize profitability
Demonstrates effective working relationships, building strong partnerships and influencing cross-functional leaders, inclusive of merchandising, allocation, marketing, finance, and production.
Drive planning process improvements, standardizations, and best practices aligned to accommodate the complexities of the business.
Accountable for leveraging departments to achieve division results
Lead, develop, and manage planning team – provide training and career development.
Requirements
10+ years in a full life cycle DTC inventory planning environment with VP or Director level experience preferred
Strong leadership presence at all levels; demonstrated experience leading a team through change in strategy or company direction
Collaborative in approach, able to develop successful business relationships across the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to analyze situations and make recommendations that are consistent with the company vision
Experience building strong teams while developing and transforming talent
Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and strong knowledge of Planning Systems (Foresight/ Micro strategy)
