About the role
- Field Service Engineer at AEG Power Solutions focusing on repair and installation of power supply systems. Traveling to customer sites in the Netherlands for maintenance, testing, and compliance adherence.
Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites to install, maintain, commission and repair power supply and related systems.
- Testing and replacing defect components to put the system into operation.
- Ensure timely, accurate and complete documentation relating to the site visits.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Confer with customers clarifying terms and conditions related to the on-site activities.
- Provide technical training and instructions to onsite personnel.
- Ensure effective and efficient use of service repair equipment.
- Keep track of necessary calibration or exchange of equipment.
- Inform the customer about possible system improvements and coordinate follow up with the sales team.
- Proactively sell customer services based on customer needs.
Requirements
- Sufficient relevant experience in the repair to component level of electrical/electronic equipment in a field service role.
- Ideally with Bachelor Engineering in Electrical field or related.
- Experience with power electronic systems and related installation/ maintenance/ service procedures.
- Willing to work in weekends -and night shifts according to planning schedule.
- Competent in English.
- Being Dutch speaker is a plus but not mandatory.
