About the role
- Provide financial planning and control support to business units, including performance analysis, budgeting and reporting. Requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel and Power BI knowledge, and experience in FP&A or controllership.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to business units in planning and monitoring the performance of the Income Statement (DRE), OPEX, CAPEX and operational KPIs, performing critical analysis, consolidating information and identifying significant variances, their causes and future impacts.
- Lead and sustain result monitoring routines (weekly follow-ups, monthly analyses and management forums).
- Support areas in interpreting results and developing action plans, ensuring focus on execution and performance.
- Actively participate in the budget cycle, including budget preparation, forecast revisions and monitoring short-, medium- and long-term projections.
- Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of information used in reports and executive presentations.
- Prepare analytical and executive materials to support results discussions and decision-making.
- Work integrally with business units, the holding company, controllership and support functions, respecting established roles and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
- Postgraduate degree.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI.
- Experience in financial planning (FP&A) or controllership, with strong command of Income Statement (DRE) and cash flow analysis, OPEX and CAPEX management, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Advantage: experience in infrastructure, sanitation, energy or regulated services companies.
- Knowledge of the Balance Sheet.
