Responsibilities
Design and development of automated manufacturing systems
Responsible for some or all phases of system development and maintenance throughout the system lifecycle
Create design concepts for industrial solutions and work closely with end users
Document design concepts and propose HW/SW implementation tools
Document HW/SW components during the development phase
Ensure the production system meets design specifications and customer requirements
Collaborate with production and test technicians during system deployment
Work with external contractors and local manufacturing to resolve issues that arise
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Experience in manufacturing with automated production/test systems
Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics, CAD files, and technical documentation
Knowledge of microcontrollers and basic circuit design is a plus
Familiarity with 3D printing technology and basic 3D design is a plus
Understanding of PLC and robot hardware architecture is a plus
Must have knowledge of programming concepts and basic programming skills
Experience with one or more programming languages (C#, Python, Java) is a plus
PLC programming and robot programming experience is a plus
Good written and spoken English skills are required
