Internship position for engineering students specializing in ceramic design at ADEO. Involves product development and quality analysis tasks in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Part of the industrial and Eco-Design team within the Building/Flooring market
Comparative analysis of tile supplier formulations
Study and compare formulations proposed by different tile suppliers.
Identify the impact of tile formulation and manufacturing processes on product quality, dimensional characteristics, technical performance and cost of finished products.
Comparative study between flooring families
Define and perform comparative tests between tile, plastic-backed flooring and laminate flooring in our internal laboratories; initiate and monitor tests performed by external laboratories.
Analyze performance across multiple criteria (resistance, durability, maintenance, etc.) and propose comparative rating scales for products.
Present results as clear, concise reports intended for training sales advisors and customers.
Support the product engineer on ongoing development projects.
Analyze supplier test results to compare product quality.
Update product process sheets.
Contribute to the critical review of technical specifications (challenge existing standards).
Design an internal training program on tile flooring (supplier portfolio, technical aspects, materials, formulations, processes, etc.).
Improve internal measurement methods and equipment.
Requirements
Engineering student specialized in ceramics or materials science, currently in the 4th or 5th year of a required engineering program.
Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
Rigorous, pragmatic, conscientious and a strong communicator.
Enjoy working in a team.
Critical and analytical mindset able to challenge data and question established practices.
Able to present and format your results clearly.
Strong affinity for the home/interior housing sector.
