Responsibilities
Provide consultative (concierge-style) assistance, ensuring compassionate support in high-complexity situations.
Mediate medical-hospital authorizations, reviewing Utilization Guidelines (DUT), medical reports and test results.
Handle patient removal/transfer cases in coordination with insurance operators and medical teams.
Clarify questions regarding coverage, limits, timeframes, and recommend providers appropriate to the plan network.
Provide guidance on document checklists and follow up on outstanding items with insurers.
Submit medical exception requests for client evaluation and support the team with daily operational tasks.
Log tickets in ServiceNow.
Attend weekly client meetings for status reporting and process alignment.
Requirements
Solid experience in the supplementary health market, brokerages, or insurance operators.
Proficient in Excel (pivot tables and controls) for KPI management.
Knowledge of ServiceNow is desirable.
Proactive, highly empathetic profile with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle critical cases and urgent situations while maintaining a solution-focused approach.
