About the role

  • Quality Engineer in water filtration focused on quality assurance measures and continuous improvement. Leading quality projects and managing specifications in collaboration with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement effective quality assurance measures in series production and new product development
  • Continuously improve the deployed quality assurance systems and methods
  • Record and address customer complaints and plan, initiate, and implement effective corrective actions, including communication with the customer
  • Regularly analyze quality-related test data and independently initiate effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Create and revise product-related specifications in coordination with customers and internal departments
  • Prepare and process first article inspection reports (FAIR), including coordination with suppliers
  • Establish and further develop the quality management (QM) system to improve test data collection
  • Independently lead quality projects

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in quality management/quality assurance or industrial engineering
  • University degree or higher education in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Strong German skills at a minimum C1 level
  • Good English skills at a minimum B1 level
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
  • Further training in purchasing, supply chain management (SCM), sales (VKI) or import/export (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in SCM or strategic sourcing (advantageous)
