About the role

  • Quality Engineer responsible for all Quality functions at West, focused on product and process improvements. Engaging in quality reporting and customer interaction for improved healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Control all Quality functions including the expansion and maintenance of the Quality System
  • Support product and process improvements by analyzing inspection and process data
  • Drive site and departmental goals in Cost of Poor Quality and Yield improvement
  • Provide accurate quality reports and perform trend analysis
  • Develop design control deliverables
  • Participate in product risk and hazard analysis
  • Work with management on root cause failure analysis and corrective actions
  • Interact with customers to integrate their requirements into manufacturing and quality systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality engineering role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in computer-based measuring equipment usage
  • Preferred knowledge of ISO 9001, cGMP
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of SPC and Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Manufacturing/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
  • Manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with DOE experience preferred
