Responsibilities
- Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation in support of manufacturing operations
- Prepare plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations
- Follow standard practices/procedures in analyzing situations or data
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Involved with the design, development, modification and analysis of products
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with existing products and make modifications and improvements as needed
- Compile and evaluate product design and test data
- Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques in development such as Design of Experiments and SPC
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field and 0+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
- Specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance
