Responsibilities
Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation in support of manufacturing operations
Prepare plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations
Follow standard practices/procedures in analyzing situations or data
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Involved with the design, development, modification and analysis of products
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with existing products and make modifications and improvements as needed
Compile and evaluate product design and test data
Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products
Working knowledge of statistical techniques in development such as Design of Experiments and SPC
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field and 0+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
Specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance
