About the role
- Senior Web Front-End Developer (Vanilla JavaScript) at Accepted. Develop front-end applications and collaborate with design and back-end teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript;
- Convert design files from Figma into semantic HTML, modular SCSS, and efficient vanilla JavaScript, with optimization for web performance and full compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA);
- Implement responsive design to ensure an excellent user experience across all devices;
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers.
- Attention to detail and ability to write clean, maintainable code, following best practices for web performance and accessibility.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in Front-end development;
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3, with emphasis on semantic markup, proper content structure, and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 Level AA);
- Experience in Web Accessibility, applying WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards in real projects (semantic HTML, keyboard & focus management, proper use of ARIA);
- Good knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript (no frameworks);
- Experience in responsive & mobile-first design;
- Knowledge of Figma (reading, understanding, and implementing designs);
- Understanding of basic UI/UX principles;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
