About the role
- SAP Senior Consultant designing and implementing data analytics solutions using SAP technologies. Collaborating with clients to create data-driven solutions that deliver real value.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced analytics and data warehouse solutions based on SAP BW/BI, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Analyze client requirements and create functional and technical concepts, taking ownership of their implementation
- Perform technical implementation in client systems with a focus on quality and long-term maintainability of your solutions
- Coordinate functional and technical issues with client teams, developers and system owners
- Support junior consultants through coaching, knowledge transfer and active mentoring
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in the SAP environment, ideally with a focus on Data Science/Data Engineering
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites to support projects on-site
- Solid knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes and data architectures
- Experience implementing and maintaining SAP data warehouse and analytics solutions
- Initial practical experience with SAP Business Data Cloud or willingness to deeply familiarize yourself with this technology
- Ideally experience in manufacturing companies, automotive OEMs or suppliers, or in the logistics sector
- At least three years of experience in one or more of the following technology areas: SAP BW/BI: data modeling, transformations, reporting, query design; SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud: data integration, modeling and governance; S/4HANA Embedded Analytics: use of CDS Views, Analytical Queries and custom analytical apps; SAP HANA: native data modeling, SQLScript, calculation views; Databricks: data engineering, Delta Lake, PySpark and integration into hybrid data architectures; SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform): integration and development of data-driven applications; ABAP / ABAP OO: development and extension of data flows; Interfaces & Integration: OData, CDS Views, web services, SAP PO/PI; Reporting & Frontend: SAP Analytics Cloud, Fiori or other BI frontends
