- Business Systems Analyst II enhancing strategic initiatives within Duke University's Alumni Engagement and Development community. Leading process improvement, project management, and collaborative efforts.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management support and build a collaborative partnership with colleagues in Alumni Engagement and Development, schools/units, Duke Health, etc. to identify processes and systems in need of improvement
- Participate and manage project tasks for routine work, ad-hoc tasks, and process improvement efforts
- Apply team’s project management standards, technical skills, and functional knowledge to meet project requirements
- Drive successful project execution from intake to delivery
- Manage project intake and prioritization
- Gather and document project requirements
- Create and maintain project roadmaps, plans, and budgets
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams
- Implement change management processes
- Ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
- Utilize project management and visual platforms like Asana, Jira, Mural, Figma, PowerPoint, etc.
- Adopt Agile, Design Thinking, Lean, and other established frameworks to plan, execute, communicate, and document projects
- Perform user management functions and functional/technical support using ticketing and triaging systems
- Support ongoing and ad-hoc training needs both within and across teams
- Provide training for end users on advancement systems and processes as needed
- Manage and effectively resolve user requests in the departmental ticketing system in support of users’ functional and technical questions

- Experience with data analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with process mapping and automation platforms such as Visio, Lucidchart, Kuali Webforms, or Power Apps is a plus
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean is a plus
